Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BUD HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Meet Bud, a happy, friendly and mild-mannered 3-year-old male Coonhound in need of a loving forever home. He can be just a bit bashful with new people and in new situations but he warms up quickly. Coonhounds are known for their tolerant and easy-going nature and Bud is no exception. He loves people and does well with other dogs too, he is just a joy to be around! Bud is currently in a loving and nurturing foster home in Chicago. He's very well behaved, quiet and mellow in the home and will fit into almost any household. Bud is crate trained and house trained and will sit patiently by a door indicating when he needs to go potty. His wonderful foster family has been working on teaching him some basic commands and he has proven himself to be a very quick study! He has mastered "sit" "down", "paw" "come" and "roll over" and is working on fetch! Bud was rescued from an open-intake shelter in southern IL. He came to us with a glaucoma diagnosis and we originally thought he would need at least one of his eyes removed. Upon arriving in Chicago he was taken to our vet for a second opinion and it was discovered that Bud had an untreated infection in his eyes that was the cause of his glaucoma. Bud has completed his regimen of antibiotics and his eye pressure is now back to normal and he should have no further complications! If interested in providing Bud with a forever home, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com for more information or for an application.
•Bud's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Bud from euthanasia.
• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
