Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hoppers, an adorable little smooth-haired terrier weighing in at 13 pounds. Estimated to be just over a year old, this little guy is friendly, loves to give kisses, and, when he's not hopping around, wants nothing more than to sit in your lap. He's lived with children in his prior temporary foster home and loved to play with their resident dog, too, although sometimes had a tough time sharing some of his toys. True to his terrier heritage he's bouncy, alert, energetic and playful. He still needs basic obedience training but is smart and has already learned ‘sit’ and was well on his way to being potty trained in his prior foster home. He would be a great dog to teach tricks to. Hoppers will make a nice family dog for an active and fun-loving family who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation and that will put in the time to train him, play with him, go for long walks and give him lots of loving and petting.
You can meet Hoppers at his new foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., 7 days a week during normal store hours (847-251-6750, wilmettepetcenter.com)
His adoption fee of $300 includes: comprehensive exam, heartworm test, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, routine deworming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative, microchip and neuter.
