Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chewie and Alfie are a bonded pair of Jersey Wooly mix bunnies.
Chewbacca, the tan bunny, is a young neutered male Jersey Wooly mix rescued last month who thought he had a home, but it fell through. He's now bonded with Alfonzo, so the two must be adopted together Easy to handle, they are pretty bunnies just over dwarf size (Chewbacca is a little bigger than Alfonzo).
Alfonzo, the white bunny, was born on August 29 to a mama rabbit that had been rescued by Friends of Rabbits from a hoarder home. He is very friendly, and enjoys being held. He is extremely energetic and loves running around, but when held he will remain still for long periods of time. Both bunnies are partly litter-trained.
Neither rabbit is aggressive in any way. They do like to have large space to run around in and need to have time to themselves. They are not lap bunnies, but they can be held and will remain still for some time. They have healthy appetites, and although clever and curious, are good about not chewing things they shouldn't.
If you're interested in adopting Chewie and Alfie, please fill out the application at http://www.friendsofrabbits.org/forms/form?verify=abc123&formid=3852 and email Friends of Rabbits at adoptions@friendsofrabbits.org. and someone will call or email you to schedule a visit. Their adoption fee is $125 for both. Chewbacca and Alfonzo are fostered in Rockville, MD.
