What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: tough, affectionate, lonely
In a short paragraph Please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog:
Wilma is very low maintenance, very affectionate, does not bark, is not aggressive and not destructive . As I understand she’s primary from a hunters’ pack and then a 4 month stay at the pound, she learned to fend for herself. She doesn’t know how to play, any basic commands or being completely house trained. These are three factors which we’re working on. She’s tough, rain or shine, snow, cold or freezing rain, she will go out no problem. She enjoys the outdoors, people, like to cuddle and be petted. She will not bark to go out but will go to the door when duty calls. If ignored, she will pee on the floor. She answers to her name and know when you take out the harness, she’s going outside. At one point in time Wilma had litters, is not spayed and at the tail end of a heat. She seems lonely. I don’t believe she was physically abused but definitely neglected with no human affection. She is fine by herself but would thrive in a home with kids and other pets.
