Facts about Hopscotch

  • Breed: American Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
When you see this two-year-old you'll be playing Hopscotch yourself. Her special needs are that she has IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) which HEART manages with a proper diet and medication on occasion. Don't let that deter you from considering Hopscotch. Our volunteers can thoroughly explain her condition to you and how to care for her. She is a quiet cat and would be a good friend. Come meet her at our Hamburg Adoption Center, 48 Buffalo Street. Hours of operation are on our website

About HEART Animal Rescue and Adoption Team, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

HEART Animal Rescue And Adoption Team is one of the first rescue groups established in Western New York. We have been an advocate for stray, abused, orphaned and homeless animals since 1984. Our rescues are fostered in homes with families so our volunteers know their habits and personalities.

We are a no-kill organization and therefore we have many pets available with slight imperfections...These imperfections don't slow them down and don't make them any less adorable...they each have their own wonderful characteristics and crave the attention they so much deserve.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters will go through an interview process. We will discuss the personality of the pet they have chosen and if it is the right fit for them. There is an adoption contract that will be signed. Adopters living in rental properties should be able to prove landlord is okay with pets at the property
