Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Henry & Kingsley are two brothers that came to me as the owner couldn't keep them. They need not be adopted together but they are used to one another. Of the two, Henry is the most loveable...he blisters but I just reach over and pet him., which he loves by the way, and he is purring in not time flat. Kingsley well, he's more shy....he was very bonded to is former Mom and I think he loved her tons and wishes he was still with her....I think that with the right person, he could fall in love again...I would recommend freedom in small doses for him and a lot of petting, talking to, and love....he can not be bribed woth et food or treats, I've tried....just talking to him and petting....Henry is by far much easier and although he may hiss at me, it's all talk. He has never once been aggressive and I just reach in and pet him and scratch his back, and he becomes a purring puddle....loves kisses too. I make sure he gets a goodly amount each and every day too!
Both are completely vetted and hard copy medical records will accompany them on adoption day....I would say that someone who has time, patience and love would be very good for them and they would return that love tenfold.
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI most Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'.
Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten. Each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
