The ears on this breed are curled back. They can have long or short hair, are very intelligent, and love their human. She however does not like other cats, so a home with a single older adult or older couple where she can be the one and only cat in the home will suit her just fine. She came from New York, and now her human has asthma so Curly-Q has come to us. NO CATS - INDOOR ONLY - WE DO NOT SHIP

About AJ's Best Friends Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

AJ’s Best Friends Rescue is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)3 non-profit companion animal rescue organization working in the East Valley suburbs of Phoenix, AZ.

We are comprised entirely of experienced volunteers united and inspired by a common compassion for all animals. Our primary focus is on saving Persians & Himalayan cats destined to be euthanized in the area shelters or in other dangerous, life-threatening situations.

Each orphaned animal we help is provided proper veterinary attention, as required, and then is placed into one of our Foster Homes. Our Foster Home program is key to helping a homeless animal become a loving pet. Some of "our" cats need extra special care and attention to recuperate from medical, mental or physical neglect/abuse, or simply to regain their confidence and trust in people, but they all receive lots of TLC and basic family member training.

Another part of our philosophy and practice is building alliances with other cooperative rescue organizations, shelters, veterinarians, media, small and large caring companies, city and county agencies. By working together, we can save more lives and eliminate the unnecessary deaths of so many orphaned animals while enhancing the lives of people as well.
