Blue's Story...
Meet Blue! Blue is a handsome 4 year old male Rottweiler that has a lot of love to give! Blue may look like a tough guy, but he is really just a big soft teddy bear. He is SO gorgeous and soft, and everywhere he goes people immediately fall in love with him! He wants nothing more than to be in the company of humans as much as possible. Blue is incredibly smart and quickly learned several commands such as sit and down. His learning potential is limitless with continued training. Blue is house and kenneled trained as well. His favorite hobby is going hiking through the woods or going for a quick stroll through the neighborhood, and he walks excellent on a leash.

Blue is a very special boy and if you’re looking for a large, low-medium energy, lifelong campanion, he might be the perfect dog for you!
Blue is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, current on trifexis, and microchipped. He is located in Huntsville, AL, but is available for adoption in your area. You can fill out an application for this big sweet boy here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Homewood Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
