My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiwi Neutered Male 3 yrs. (est.) 12lb   Adoption fee $350 Poodle Maltese Mix

I am just a little white guy, but my personality is giant.  I love, love, love people. I want to climb on you, kiss your face, sleep on your pillow.  My house habits are nice and clean, if you don’t mind me tearing up a bit of Kleenex.  I like adults and kids alike, but I am a bit too small and enthusiastic to be  right for small students.

I do like my freedom and I am prepared to go for it. I can shimmy up a fence lickety split.  I am not afraid to fly off a deck, no matter how high.  Baby gate, for babies. I will leap over it to get to the other side. You will need to guide my explorations to keep me safe.  But I don’t try to run away when we take a walk.

I can stay quietly in a crate while you are out, but I am not going in there on my own.

My foster brother is my friend, and we can play for hours. But I am not so sure about those other dogs I see when taking a walk. My first reaction is to try to frighten them away with my determined barking and growling.

I don’t remember mom or dad, but  my foster mom thinks one was a Poodle and the other a Maltese. I  have bright eyes (all the better to see you with), high set ears and a darling underbite. My all weather coat is curly, non-shedding, ever-classic white with a tiny tinge of apricot.

Much as I love it here with my foster family, would love to meet you and have my own home and folks. Do you want to meet me?

Dogs are vaccinated, microchipped  and spayed/neutered before adoption.
The necessary first step to inquire about any dog, is to complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form. Once we receive the NCPR Adoption Interest Form, a volunteer will contact you promptly. We need your information to match you with the perfect companion. NorCal Poodle Rescue places dogs within northern California only.
