Penn is a male Bichon Frise/Poodle approximately 3 years old. He is a fluffy, soft boy with a non-shedding coat of ivory curls. Penn is a sturdy size, weighing 16 pounds full grown. He has a cute compact body, shorter legs, and an adorable little cropped tail that is a bit like a pom pom. Penn is a fairly calm and mellow dog, easy to care for and quietly affectionate. He never makes a fuss and although he likes to be included, he is agreeable with just about anything. Penn gets along nicely with other dogs and is more of a companion than a playmate. He adores going for walks and is alert and intelligent, observing everything around him and taking it all in. He learns quickly and will come when he's called. Penn is well behaved in public and rides quietly in the car. He is an affectionate dog and will gladly snuggle on the couch or lay at your feet whichever you prefer. He takes treats gently from your hand and could easily learn basic commands. He already seems to understand "sit". Penn is a classy boy and should make a wonderful pet and companion. He will thrive in a peaceful home where he can hang out with his people and be pampered. Penn was rescued from a high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray and neglected. This sweet dog deserves better and is a beautiful boy. Penn is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Penn’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Penn is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Charlie and is ready for his forever home.
