Zeus's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zeus's Story...
Born around January 2016 and is 10 lbs. Lives win cats and dogs. Loves his chin rubbed and to snuggle. He is FIV positive but that is not a death sentence. It just means that he is more susceptible to other illnesses if exposed due to his compromised immune system. He can live with other cats that are negative since the only way it is transmitted is by deep bite wounds (he is too sweet for that!) and sex (he is fixed so that can't happen). He is not contagious to dogs or people either. He can live a long, full, happy life.

Adoption fee of $95 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Mount Pleasant Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mount Pleasant, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mount Pleasant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Pleasant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Pleasant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Pleasant paves the way for another one to be saved.
