My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a 2 year old 7 pound female Dachshund. She is pretty thin, so should gain about 1 pound to be at an ideal weight. She is a tiny Dachshund, and because of her breed and petite stature, she is not an appropriate pet for a family with small children. Dachshunds have fragile backs, and should not jump off furniture or have toddlers tripping over them.

Lucy was acquired from someone listing her on a free-to-good-home website after she had had a litter of pups. A rescue group in south Georgia got Lucy from her owner and asked if we would take her in for rehoming. There are few adopters in their small towns, and they knew that Lucy would have a better chance of finding a good home in a large metropolitan area like Atlanta. So here she is. Lucy is brave and inquisitive. She love to explore in the yard and has made herself at home in her foster home in Atlanta where she lives with several other dogs.

Lucy has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization located in Atlanta, GA. The adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we will contact you to schedule a time for you to meet Lucy.
