Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sully is a 2-year-old American Bulldog mix. My foster dad is going to introduce me since he knows me so well!
"Oh Sully, He is such a good dog. He is a very loyal dog, very smart and learns quickly. Loves to be outside playing in the grass. He sleeps in bed with me with his head on the pillow. He is fantastic in his kennel during the day while I am at work. I’ve never seen a dog more happy to see me when I get home than he is. I have been working on leash training and he is doing a lot better. He is very alert to outside noises so he would be a great guard dog. He doesn't bark at them but his ears will perk up and he will go to a door or window once he hears something. He is cautious around new people but warms up quickly.
Sully is nervous around children and I think it is best if he goes to a no young child home, but he is great with teenagers. Gets along great with my female dog Lizzy and did fantastic at our group walk at the park on Sunday. He does know basic commands and is very eager to please. In the house he is a big cuddle buddy when you want him to be, if not he is totally fine just relaxing at your feet. Loves to play fetch with the tennis ball. I believe he would do best with a single active owner because he is loyal and protective of them but I'm sure he would learn to be great with a couple. He would also be a great jogging companion. He loves to walk around next to me in the back yard and does great on car rides.
Because he does take a bit to warm up to people (he can be timid and nervous at first) I feel like it gives off a bad vibe to people. Seriously if they would just give him a day he is the best dog ever! "
