My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smithers (or Smitheroni as he is affectionately called by his foster family) is a 3 year old, neutered male Bulldog mix who came to RAD Rescue in late October. He was in such bad shape that it was believed he was much older than he actually is.

He has received amazing care by his foster, working on improving his coat and helping him thru a couple minor fixes (neuter complications and a small mass removal on his front foot). Smithers LOVES people and does well with kids - his size may make small children a challenge, but only because he is a typical Bulldog and likes to wiggle his way into your heart.

Smithers would prefer to be an only dog; however, he has been successfully introduced to mellow female dogs with no issues. As with any of our RAD Rescue dogs, if going to a home with others dogs an introduction is required. Smithers does NOT do well with cats or small animals, so will require a home without those (ferrets, mice, birds, etc). Smithers will require a home with older, respectful, dog savvy children due to his size.
