Luna's Story...
Luna is a beautiful 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog. She has one silver eye and one brown eye. Did you know there's a myth says that dogs with two different color eyes can view heaven and earth at the same time? Another story goes that heterochromatic dogs are natural protectors! Luna was surrendered due to her owner's health. She is feeling very uncertain right now, but is quiet and sweet. Australian Cattle Dogs, (also know as Blue Heelers), are very intelligent dogs and do well in active families. They do very well in agility training and other dog training programs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Englewood Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Englewood, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Englewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Englewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Englewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Englewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
