My story

Sweet Myria is one of those special dogs who really benefit from the TLC that only a foster home can provide. She was surrendered to rescue after having endured life in an abusive home. This resulted in a fear of most men, although she has grown to accept her foster dad. Because of her insecurities, we are looking for a gentle home for Myria with someone who is home a lot. She gets along well with the dog in her foster home, and may benefit from the companionship of a confident canine pal. At just 2 years of age, this pretty 40-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix is looking forward to a forever home that will treat her right. Myria is a very affectionate dog and has a lot of love to offer. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you have love and patience for Myria. Watching this gentle soul continue to blossom and gain confidence will be a very rewarding experience.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for heartworm (if deemed necessary), microchipped, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($300 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.
