Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ginger is our newest addition. She came from a very high kill shelter and we think she knew she barely made it out. She was found with a male that went to another rescue, and she was very dependent on him. She is beginning to realize she is safe and is starting to warm up a bit. She is a shy, sweet girl, but very smart, and has already figured out the pet door. Ginger is submissive to the other dogs and kind of keeps to herself, but is fine when they want to greet and sniff her.
Spayed female
6 years old
Current on shots
Micro chipped
Heartworm positive, started slow kill
House and crate trained
Good with people and other dogs
Good with cats
Very gentle so probably fine with children but not tested
Ginger is slowly coming out of her shell and starting to eat well and seek affection. Once she feels at home we think this lovely girl will be a wonderful, calm companion. If you think Ginger might be a good match for you please go to our website and fill out an application. We can also do the regular heartworm treatment after adoption if that is what the adopter chooses.
