My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus is a beautiful boy. He apparently has been beaten and abused by someone for quite a long time. We got him from a lady who pulled him from a kill shelter. He is terrified of people. We haven't had him around other dogs yet until we can get him to accept us. In the beginning, he ran and hid from us. At least now he doesn't run from us and will allow us near him sometimes he will accept a treat from our hand. When he came in he weighed only 60 pounds. He had pneumonia as well. He is now cured of the pneumonia but has had an ear infection that we have taken him to the vet for. He packed his ear with medication that lasts for two weeks. We must take him back next week to have it checked to see if it needs another packing but we can tell he feels so much better. He wouldn't allow us to put ear drops in his ears. He still is too frightened. We believe he is very comfortable here now and he is majestic to see and someday he will accept us more. It is terrible how frightened he is of people. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and potty trained. He now weighs 97 pounds
