Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Butchy Boy graduated with a master's from the School of Hard Knocks and is looking to spend his life with someone who's as sensitive and discerning as he is.
Once he's comfortable, you'll be set with a cat who acts like a gentle dog. Seriously, you need to be comfortable living with a cat who's in love with you. Butchy follows you closely enough to tickle your legs with his whiskers. He does a high-pitched little meow that sounds like "alp!" when he wants to hang out, and likes being picked up and held like a baby. Prepare to be emotionally inspired.
Butchy spent most of his life on the streets and is partially blind, so he adjusts to new environments and new people carefully. You'll love this guy for his gentleness, especially in light of what he's been through. Let him inspire you (or just allow yourself to pet those adorable cheeks). We can't wait for you to see how great he is.
Butchy Boy is felv and fiv positive which means he needs to be in a home as an only pet. This nice kitty was born in 2012.
If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Butchy Boy please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.
We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com to learn more. Photos by Kari Peters
