Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joan was rescued from a central California shelter where she had been surrendered with her very young puppies. Her pups have all found wonderful homes and it is now mom's turn! Joan is a sweet girl - she seems to love all the people she meets and is eager to please. She is estimated to be around 2-3yrs old and about 65lbs. Joan is currently in a kennel environment where she has shown to be reactive towards other dogs...however we feel that once in a more calm atmosphere she might do just fine. Joan loves to go on walks and play fetch in the yard. She has many typical german shepherd traits, so we would love to find a breed experienced home that can appreciate those qualities.
Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group.
Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.
We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
