Jill's Story...
Meet Jill! Jill and her sister Jane are new here, so our caretakers are still learning about their personality. We can tell you both girls like attention and like to be pet. Jill a little shy, but does enjoy playing with a feather toy. Jane is a little more outgoing, but both girls are friendly and sweet. We are not yet sure how they are with other cats, dogs or kids. As we get to know them, we will let you know. Won't you come in and get to know our sweet girls?

Jill is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. They do not need to be adopted together. For more information, please give us a call at (302) 571-0111 or visit Jilly at PetSmart in the Brandywine Town Center.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jill, a Wilmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
