Hi, my name is Brutus. I am a 5 year old Cane Corso and I am doing much better now. I have been in a TX shelter for almost 3 weeks. Can you believe they kept me that long?! It sure was depressing being in that shelter. Just as I would make friends with a dog, he would leave me. I sure hope my friends went home to great families like I will some day. My foster mom picked me up only 24 hours ago ( 9/20) and I am already feeling so much better. She says that I am way too skinny, so I get to eat yummy food 4 times a day! Every time I wake up from a nap, I get to eat! She tells me that I will be looking even more handsome in no time. I have only been here one day, but I have not had a single accident in the house and I am really minding my manners. I really miss my family though. My mom and human siblings moved to MI. I stayed home with my dad and he kept me outside all day and night. I did not like that, especially since I am so well behaved inside the house. When our fence came down in the backyard, my Mastiff brother and I escaped and found our way into the local shelter several times. After the third time, the shelter workers decided that I deserved much better. So, now I am looking for another family that will love me and accept all the love and joy I will give to them. Are you that family?
