Update: 6/7/17 Amelia seems to need a female only household. She is too frightened of men and will not come out if there is a man in the house. So, the best living arrangements for this sweet girl need to be with women only. She does seem ok with younger boys but a quiet house is needed for her to thrive.

Amelia was a stray who was emaciated and scared to death. She is the sweetest thing now but still shy until she gets comfortable. Then watch out! She loves to cuddle and just be near you! She is still adjusting to being inside a home but loves soft beds and couches. She is learning what toys and treats are and is loving it! She is not very big at all. The pictures are deceiving! She weighs about 28 lbs. and still needs to gain a couple more. She is very calm and have not heard one bark from her. She is very shy and still skiddish of loud noises. She is slowly becoming a happy, fun dog! She needs someone patient and loving to show her it's OK to trust people. She is an absolute doll! Call or text to meet Amelia! 804-551-2908.
