Diamond- MD's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Diamond- MD's Story...
Beautiful Diamond is a 4-5 year old spayed female currently being fostered in Maryland. She does tolerate other big male dogs but is jealous if someone pets them and not her. Diamond does not like small dogs. She currently lives with 2 cats and has no problem what so ever. She understands the purpose of claws. Diamond is housebroken and will only occasionally decide to chew a paper but besides that is perfect in the house. She is crate trained and reluctantly goes inside if need be. A treat usually does the trick. Diamond has learned sit and down and is working on heeling. She would probably prefer to be an only dog or if another male dog is in the house she would need to have the owner be the dominant one. She is probably not a best match for a first time large breed owner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond- MD, a New York Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in New York, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
