My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apollo is a giant lovebug of a cat. Playful and gentle with other cats, he LOVES people and loves to cuddle. He is very outgoing and social and is a truly wonderful guy.

Apollo is FIV+, which just means that his immune system is lower than other cats who are negative. Most FIV+ cats live a lifespan comparable to those without it.

FIV is not life threatening, nor is it easily passed from cat to cat. In fact, before we rescued Apollo, he lived in a room with 105 other cats (!!!) and never transmitted it to any of them. For more information about FIV, go to this link: http://thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org/?page_id=7698
