Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet baby, Jackson, came to us after he spent months of his young life in the shelter because his previous owner relinquished him for being "too energetic". We didn't know what to expect when we went to visit him at animal control to temperament-test him but we quickly realized he couldn't be more of a sweetheart.
When he's not wrestling with the resident dog or snoring loudly while napping with the resident cat, he quietly follows his foster-humans around the house sitting or rolling over at their feet, just looking for some loving. He is such a gentle boy!
In just a short time in foster care, he has become a pro at pottying outside and is learning to share his toys and walk nicely on the leash. He has even gone to work a few times with his foster parents and everybody he met loved him! He laid quietly chewing or napping all day and didn't make a sound. He does have hip dysplasia, but it doesn't seem to bother him aside from not being able to jump onto tall furniture (which isn't always a bad thing for anyone who knows the counter surfers of the world). He loves taking fish oil and glucosamine supplements which help his joints, too.
We know he will bring so much love and happiness to his furever home! We are now accepting applications for him which can be found on our website at www.playersforpits.com!
***Blank inquiries will not be replied to as we are a small organization and our volunteers time is limited. If you are serious about adopting a specific dog, please visit www.playersforpits.com to complete an adoption application. Once an application is completed, a representative will contact you to set up a time to meet the dog you have applied for. Thank you for your understanding!***
