My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little guy is Pete, an adult male Pekingese whose past we don't know much about. What we believe is that his past may have involved some neglect and or even abuse. You see, Pete has what we like to call a "Peke-tude" and can get a little grumpy. However, we believe this attitude is actually due to an injury. We will know more once he is neutered and has his x-rays done. Until then we will continue to search for a forever home. Pete will need a home with a patient and experienced pet owner. He will need to be in a home with no children. Pete does enjoy affection and playing with squeaky toys. And when he has recovered we believe he will enjoy so much more about life. It's time to end the cycle of uncertainty and distrust, Pete deserves all the love and acceptance a forever home has to offer!
