My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky is a good-looking senior male Yellow Lab (possibly a mix) who happens to need a special person or family who can accept that he has occasional mild seizures- at this point, not on medication for it. Despite his status of being considered a "special needs" dog, he is loving and gentle, but is strong on leash, although he does fine with a tie-out or of course a fenced yard. He is also crate trained, housetrained, rides well in the car, and enjoys outdoor activities, as just about any Lab would. No cats- and selective about which dogs he gets along with, so his best bet is with a family with no other dogs- especially high energy dogs. Lucky may be a "special needs" dog, but he really doesn't need anything special from you, other than providing him with a home where he can spend the rest of his senior years surrounded by a family who loves him. Can you make room for Lucky in your life? If so, please fill out an application at our site @ www.PeisandStrays.com. Lucky is current on core vaccines, neutered, housetrained, and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE: Lucky is located in a foster home in VT.
