Sunni's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sunni's Story...
Sunni is almost 2 years old and weighs 22 pounds. She was surrendered to us when her owner had to move. Sunni is submissive, great with younger or older children, other friendly dogs and cats! She is house trained, crate trained, very lovable and sweet. She is not a jumper, loves being in your lap, companion dog (for sure!!) who prefers to be with you and touching you, and then to go lay somewhere else. She minds well and will alert you to strangers but listens when you tell her it's ok, she loves everyone she meets and loves playing with other young dogs like herself. Sunni would do well in just about any home, she is leash trained and loves going for walks!

If you are interested in adding Sunni to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. She is currently being fostered in west Tennessee. She will be transported once her adoption is finalized. Transport runs to the following cities: Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; Willington, CT.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunni, a Southington Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Southington, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
