Many people believe that rescue dogs are always grateful; that they truly know they have been saved, and show their gratitude to their families with lifelong loyalty and devotion for having been given their second chance.
Not Gibbs!!! This little cutie patootie is all about
HIM!! You won’t meet a friendlier puppy and he loves to be with his foster family and the other dogs . . . but when he is not the center of attention, you’re going to hear about it!! (in the cutest way, of course) Gibbs is one of 3 baby boys who were rescued from a hoarding situation. There were Shih-tzu’s, Pomeranian's, Chihuahua’s and Pekingese roaming in the home (and every combination of them). Gibbs must have inherited his confidence and sense of entitlement from one of his parents, and his charm from the other! He loves to play and if no one is giving him attention, he’ll pester all the dogs in his foster home until they chase him (you should see the smile on his face as he zooms around!). If members of his foster family don't acknowledge him when they're walking through the house, he ambushes them by jumping up and biting at their pants (he’s such a pipsqueak, he barely reaches their knees at full height!). If it's time to come back in from the yard and he's not ready, he'll ignore his foster family when they're calling by hiding in the grass and acting like he's invisible. But when he’s tired, there’s just no stopping him from snuggling up and sleeping like a little ball in someone's lap, the crook of their neck or just right beside them. He is equal parts "adorable" and "adorable pest"! Because he is so active, we are giving priority to those adopters who have another playful canine companion in the home. Gibbs is about 4 months old, he weighs about 8 pounds and he’s a very healthy boy.
