for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rudy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rudy's Story...
Meet Rudy. Poor Rudy. Rudy is a 14 year old and is about 20 lbs. He was surrendered to us today because his former owner is going through cancer treatments and cannot care for him anymore. Rudy is scared witless and just wants a home to call his own for his remaining years. He's a lil too scared and new for us to really see how he feels about other dogs or cats - thus far, he doesn't seem to mind anyone or anything. If you're interested in Rudy, please fill out an application at today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a New Orleans Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in New Orleans, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in New Orleans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Orleans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Orleans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Orleans paves the way for another one to be saved.
