My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherman is a happy, playful puppy! He is goofy and sweet! He is also very smart and learned how to use a dog door right away. Of course at his age he is not fully house-trained, but he is certainly doing well at taking himself out when he needs to go! He was born on December 10, 2016. Sherman and his siblings were rescued off of the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation. His mother is a feral husky whom the officers have been trying to trap and spay for years now, but she is too smart for them! We have had several of her litters now, and they are incredibly smart puppies! The dogs out there come from many generations of mixed breeds. There is definitely husky in there, and probably lab/shepherd/golden. Currently he is about 18 lbs, and will be about 75-85 lbs when he is grown. Sherman is an awesome puppy who deserves a terrific home where he will get plenty of attention! Huskies are an active breed that require lots of exercise and stimulation, so please keep that in mind. Sherman's adoption fee is $300 and that includes neuter, microchip and first DAPP puppy vaccination. If you are interested in meeting Sherman, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or text your email address to 602-295-4518 and let us know that you are interested in filling out an adoption application on Sherman.

AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
