Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little lady is patiently waiting for her forever Mom and/or Dad. Some kids over age 12+ would be great too as she loves to lick them! Miracle hails from the NYC Animal Control Center. Scheduled to die, she was rescued by one of our rescue partners. Sadly, her foster canine sister was not a fan of her and she came into our loving arms in a pinch. Since arriving, she has brought nothing but smiles to our faces. On January 1, 2017 she weighed a mere 32lbs. What? Yes, she was emaciated and left to starve in a crate! She had wounds on her back from abuse and sores all over her legs and backside as a result of the abandonment. In a month she put on 21lbs and looks amazing. None of this trauma has dampened her spirit and gratitude. She embraces each day and waits patiently for someone to notice her sweet self in her kennel. She did attend two weeks of training at John Gagnon's Pet Resort and passed with flying colors. She needed leash work and was fear reactive of men. She has made great progress but because of all that she's been through, she needs someone that has patience and can read canine body language. She's not usually impulsive but we would like to continue to train her with an adopter that can implement the little techniques and set boundaries at home. Sounds like a tall order, right? It's not! She is stressing in her kennel though so we would like to get this baby in her forever home as soon as possible. She deserves to have her own fairy tale happy ending!
