My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***UPDATE ON MARLEY"S PROGRESS****
Marley is making some real progress in his new foster home, even though he has days that he regresses depending on noises, activity and wind. He is eating well and loving to be outside when the weather is nice. Sometimes he just prances around the yard with his head up and even played like a puppy in the snow! He comes outside and goes inside on command, and is much less fearful of going through the doorway. We are walking together with our other dog as a guide on leash around our yard. Now, he LOVES his walks and is handling the noisiness of construction, etc so much better!

Inside, he tends to be in one corner in our den, but will come out tentatively when I pull on his lead. He is starting to respond to T touch, stroking and much love....baby steps!

Marley would do well in a more quiet, structured home and must have another mid/large dog. He is also most at ease with women so his primary caregiver should be a woman. We have no info on cats, but his foster thinks that he wouldn't mind them at all. Marley came to us with little to no human interaction for the first six years of his life (he is 6). Because of his lack of social interaction in his formative years he's not very quick to trust, but is learning to love being touched. He will need a very patient home that will continue with his t-touch therapy as he slowly builds trust. He is a very handsome guy that is extremely docile. He's not very comfortable in the house yet, he is far more active outside. It is recommended that he be tethered to a lead while outside until that trust is built, as he is still afraid to come inside especially when it's dark.

Are you that special home willing to continue to build Marley's trust in a loving family home?
