Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Hooper and I am a Danesky – a proud Northern dog of Great Dane and Husky ancestry. In the dog world, I am considered a hunk! I look like a big boy but I really am still a baby, so I am on the lookout for a lifelong commitment filled with lots of love, guidance, and continued training. Don’t be getting all weepy on me now except it is important for you to understand that if you adopt me, we may not have as much time together as you would if you adopted another puppy. The Vet broke the news to me and Helen today ... I have Chronic Kidney Failure so my life expectancy is between 3 to 5 years. After the Doc gave us the news, they had a big decision to make about my future. I knew it was important that I give it my best shot, so I made the most adorable face, put one ear up and one ear down, and stared lovingly into their eyes. That did it, three to five good years is better than none! I have a ton of life ahead of me and I don’t want to waste another minute; want to share it with a special human. I’m a fun-loving doofus who has never met a stranger, loves other dogs, and will prove how smart I am if given the chance. Have you been craving some puppy love to spice up your life? Well, I can bring that to your family! There is no time to waste, let’s enjoy the here and now. Today, I am just a young pup in search of love, patience, and a forever home. Fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt me.

Hooper was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure. The condition cannot be cured but since it was detected early, Hooper could live between 3 to 5 years. Hooper has started medication and he will be on special food which will also help. Animatch is committed to giving Hooper a chance at a life that every dog deserves for however many years he has.
