Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Bridgette is searching for a forever home after losing hers when her special person passed away. Bridge is a 11 year old 15 pound beauty who is in a foster home in Florida.
Bridgette is such a good girl. She is crate trained and house trained but like all dachshunds she will need to be confident in her environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience.
Bridgette is leash trained and just loves to go for walks. She also enjoy some gentle playtime. Bridgette loves to explore the back yard in her foster home, chasing squirrels and lizards.
A submissive girl, Bridgette gets along well with other gentle dogs and does well with kitties too. Bridgette would do well in a home with children over the age of 11 years. She is quite submissive and sometimes has some separation anxiety, wanting to be with her person or another dog. Bridgette would do best in a home where she could have a doggy pal.
Bridgette sleeps in the big bed with her foster mom and would like a home where she could continue to have this special time.
Bridgette gets very excited when her foster mom comes or when she wants to do something special. She will be vocal at this time with some squeaks and squeals!
Bridgette lost quite a few teeth when she had her dental care when she came into rescue and her foster mom softens her food to make chewing a bit easier. Losing some teeth hasn’t stopped her loving food!
This happy little girl is waiting for her special home. Are you going to be the lucky one that calls her yours? Apply to adopt Bridgette today!
