Toby and Finn for FREE adoption - males, spayed, descented, litter trained (as well as ferrets can be), vet checked, vaccinated. Toby is a 4 year old blaze sable. Finn is a 3 ½ year old dark eyed white.
These two are super playful with each other and with humans. They will chase you around the house. They love to wrestle with your hand and arm, chase the broom and chase the vacuum cleaner. Finn loves rubbery toys, latex toys and Kongs.
They must be let out of the cage at least twice a day and have at least five hours of play time each day. They must go as a pair. They can be aggressive with other ferrets. They are fine with dogs, cats and humans. They have been around a young child with no problems.
They both have adrenal disease, which 75% of ferrets will get in their lifetimes. It is not life threatening unless untreated. They both received a Deselorelin implant as treatment on 2/4/17, which is good for a year. After that, they will need another implant ($160 at the rescue) or surgery ($275 at the rescue vet in Cartersville). Otherwise, they are very healthy.
All rescue ferrets have received two distemper vaccinations and have been treated for fleas and ear mites. They are well socialized with humans.
For FREE adoption. They do NOT come with a cage, though the rescue has cages for sale for cheap, as well nearly any ferret supplies you may need, including: food, water bottles, litter boxes, leashes, harnesses, shampoo, Ferretone, books, nail trimmers, toys, hammocks, sleep sacks, litter, flea supplies, deodorizing spray, cleaning supplies, and much more!
Plan to buy at least one month worth of food, as well as any needed supplies while here for the adoption. Buying supplies from the rescue helps pay for rescue food and vet bills.
