My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pongo was found abandoned outside a shelter where the workers reached out to us to help find them a home. Pongo is a little shy at first but very sweet. Once he has warmed up and is comfortable in his surroundings he is a different dog - his little ears perk up and he is happy, jumping for attention and playful. Pongo will need someone who will be patient with him until he gets acclimated to his new surroundings. Pongo is 7 months old and 33 pounds.

Here is what Pongo's foster Mom has to say about him: He is a pleasure. Since we got him he has really come such a long way. He is housebroken, sleeps through the night, fetches a tennis ball and will now walk on a leash (still needs some work on that but doing great). He is great with our dog and all he wants to do is play. I am gone a few hours at a time during the day and he is very well behaved. We have the occasional missing shoe or door mat but he is just being a puppy. He has a fabulous disposition. His favorite thing in the world seems to be just getting love. He is a great snuggler. Someone would be lucky to have him.

Pongo's adoption fee is $275. This covers all their age-appropriate shots and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
