Schmidt's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Schmidt's Story...
Schmidt is a friendly 4 yr. old black and rust doberboy. Coming from a shelter, it is obvious he has previously lived in a home and been a cared for pet. Schmidt has good manners in the house, is crate trained and is well behaved in the crate. He is a polite eater, and as if eating in a restaurant, he doesn't hurry his meal! Schmidt is not a high energy doberboy and seems fairly calm, but he needs continued work on loose leash walking. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and appears cat friendly. Schmidt is a well-balanced doberboy that will make a wonderful family pet. He won't last long, so come and meet Schmidt at our next adoption event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Schmidt, a Columbus Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
