Hi I'm Shelby! I'm a 10 month old 50 lbs pit/sharpei mix. I have been in a foster home recovering from non-contageous demodex mange. Now I'm healthy and my fur is back, so I'm ready for my forever home. I have typical puppy energy that I like to burn up taking walks, playing ball and wrestling with my foster brother. I also really like spending quiet time napping or chewing on a rope or bone. My life started out rough, so I'm a little needy and like to be near my humans. It takes me a little time to warm up to new people, but once I do I shower them with cuddles and kisses. I can spend up to 4 hours in a crate if my humans are not home. I've started training for basic commands and I am VERY food motivated. I have good leash manners and I sleep well thru the night in a crate. I share my foster home with 4 other dogs so I'm a social girl. My puppy energy can annoy the old dogs, but the younger dogs like playing with me, even though I can be a little pushy. I would do great with another dog in my new home, as long as that dog will correct me when I am too puppyish. I would also do great with dog-savvy kids who would help me train. I am potty trained, healthy, microchipped, spayed and UTD on my vaccines. Give my foster momma a call or email to meet me. (Diane 408-218-4182) She comes vaccinated with DA2PP, Bordetella, and a Rabies shot. she also comes neutered, dewormed, flea protected for one month, micro chipped that comes with microchip registration, leash and collar, some starter food, 20 per cent coupon at Pet Food Express, and training fliers.
