Douglas's Story...
Douglas and his littermates were born into our rescue so they have been well socialized. We rescued their parents who were running together as strays in rural Ohio. Dad is a beautiful and loving White German Shepherd and mom is a good tempered shepherd/hound/husky? mix. The puppies are 10 weeks old September 27th.
Grumman is a big boy, but very loveable and sweet Douglas is more rambunctious and 5 lbs lighter.

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella. They are on monthly preventative for heartworm and fleas/ticks. If you'd like to meet this big sweet puppy, please apply online at . Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Douglas, a Cincinnati Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
