Dash's Story...
Name: Dash
Breed: Cur mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male

Dash is a young adult male mixed breed, full grown at about 35-40 pounds, and has the basics down. Already house trained and crate trained, he loves other dogs and is very comfortable with kids also. Dash was rescued from a chain in someone's backyard and has so much to experience still, and he lives each day to its fullest. He is playful, might be a little timid with new people at first, and very snuggly. He enjoys having the attention on him and is pretty clever about finding ways to ask you for it. He would prefer a fenced yard outside.

Requirements: Fenced yard.

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dash, a Minneapolis Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
