Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, Chippy Chirp here! I am a young lutino cockatiel. Although they do not know my age, it’s ok because I am as sweet as can be! I was very ill when I first came into Rescue, but the very nice people at FPR got me the medical care I needed and it has me feeling like a brand new bird; and now, I am ready to meet my new forever family.
I am very shy, but my foster mom is working with me to help me come out of my shell. (haha pun intended) She goes slowly and lets me work at my own pace, and I like that. A slow pace helps me to feel comfortable and more confident in my new surroundings while I get to know you. I will step up on occasion and I am very polite when I do. Overall, I am a pretty easy going bird and I am just happy to hang out in the room with you.
Like most cockatiels, I will not eat things that I do not recognize as food. Currently, I am on a seed diet but I hope to learn how to enjoy fresh veggies, fruit, healthy nuts and chop too.
Despite my name, my foster mom says I am super quiet even for a little cockatiel like me and she wishes I would chirp more since my voice is just so pretty. I am such a quiet cutie that I am told I am the BEST study buddy and work partner ever! I would be perfect for someone with not a lot of space in their home, but a whole lot of room in their heart! Could that be you? Please come meet me and let's find out!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird's cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
