With her black mask over her eyes, Shelly is a bandit ready to steal your love. Originally transferred to us from a traditional shelter along with several kittens, Shelly stayed with us for almost a year before being adopted. Unfortunately, that relationship didn’t work out as dreamed. Due to the adopter’s respiratory issues, Shelly ended up at another traditional shelter scheduled for euthanasia. We transferred her back, and found that despite all her heartbreak, Shelly is still loving, trusting, and hopeful for a new beginning. With her throaty purr she presses her head into your hand for more pets, and when happy and satisfied, she will meander over to munch her favorite wet food. Shelly is good with other cats and enjoys watching wildlife from the comfort of a sunny sill, as well as racing back and forth across the floor, chasing invisible friends. Shelly will be a wonderful friend for a lucky someone.
