Lemon(KNA Rainey)'s Story...
Lemon (Now Called Rainey) is a beautiful girl we rescued from a dog pound back in 2013. She was adopted by a loving owner who has fallen ill and can't care for her any longer. She is now approx. 4-5 years old and a wonderful dog. She is highly dog social and is in doggie daycare now also on a weight loss program. Her past owner fed her way too many table scraps. She has successfully lost 15 lbs and is on her way to lose 15 more and be a healthy weight at 85 lbs. Rainey is so good with other dogs and super loving with humans. She is very well balanced and delightful to be around. Adoption fee 125.00. Update 3/14: Rainey has now achieved her weight loss goal and is a healthy 85 lbs. You go girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lemon(KNA Rainey), a Avon American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer for sale in Avon, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
