Hello, my name is Spirit. I am a beautiful black cat. I have identical personality traits to that of a Bombay cat, and even though I may not be a purebred, I sure look like and act a lot like a Bombay. I am also very muscular in build, and loyal to my human companion. I do not like to be alone, I prefer to be in the same room with you. I love attention, but I can also relax on my scratch bed. I LOVE catnip and my cardboard scratch pad!
I am SUCH A sweet cat! I have been waiting patiently to find my forever home, as I have so much love to give. I love laying on your chest, and rubbing my face against your face. I love giving nose rubs to my foster Mom, she says no other cat has ever done that to her before, and that I'm so sweet!
I am very calming to be around, and I have a nice energy, so I was named Spirit.
My foster Mom says I am a very special cat, which is why she named me Spirit. I connect with my human and I love to cuddle with them and lay with them while they sleep. I used to live outside as a stray cat, but one day I came to seek food and love from a nice human, which is how I got to be in an adoption program.
Since I was outside for such a long time, I would really appreciate a screened in porch room or lanai so I could experience the beautiful outdoors and sunshine on my face.
I care very much about being LOVED though, and really want my own human to bond with. I enjoy eating wet food, and some dry. I especially love real chicken, and foods with meat chunks yum! My foster Mom saves some scraps for me to enjoy sometimes, oh boy! I just love when she does that.
I have been fixed and am ready to find my forever home. I tested negative for Leukemia/FIV, and have not received any vaccinations, because my immune system used to be a bit compromised when I was first rescued. I am doing GREAT now though, but my foster Mom is "holistic" and believes in minimal vaccinations for optimal feline health.
