About Partners For Pets Marianna, Fl

About Our Shelter...

We are a small private 501(c) nonprofit shelter located in the rural panhandle of Florida. We take in stray cats and dogs as well as owner turn ins. We also try to help out our fellow local shelters and rescues by taking in their overflow and saving dogs on the euthanasia list at animal control. We run entirely off of public support and donations.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located at 4011 Maintenance Dr. Marianna, Fl 32448 next to the Jackson County Alternative School.

Our hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-3PM CST, Saturday 8AM-1PM CST.

Keep watch on our facebook page for upcoming events.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a short two page adoption form/contract that asks simple reference and care questions as well as lists the quality of life that the owner is expected to uphold. We require fenced yards for many of our dogs, however each animal and situation is different so requirements may vary.

Our adoption fees are:
DOGS:
$65 adoption fee + $70* state required spay/neuter deposit
CATS:
$15 adoption fee + $55* state required spay deposit OR $45* state required neuter deposit

*All spay and neuter deposits an unaltered animals are refundable with proof of spay/neuter. If the animal was spayed/neutered before arrival at shelter this deposit is voided (no charge). If the shelter has paid to have the animal spayed/neutered this deposit is nonrefundable as it is paying for the alteration surgery.
