My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WILLA is a two and a half year old rat terrier cross, weighing about 20 pounds.
This high energy, smart, intense little lover girl needs a home where she gets enough exercise to wear her out! And she needs a home where guidance, given lovingly but firmly, is consistent.

She loves other dogs and will happily go on chasing jags with another motivated pup or dog. She is affectionate with everyone she meets and though her first action may be to bark at strangers she can easily be re-directed to her handler.

Her weak point may be that, if boundaries are not set, she will try to push the limits. She has some resource guarding issues and feels threatened if she is given something which is then taken away. She goes up to every child she meets to give kisses, but she will do best in a home without children so that competition over objects is minimalised.

The keys to success with this gal are a ton of exercise, good dog handling skills and a willingness to manage a dog who needs the guidance!
