My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Bacall (HWTH#17034A). She is a Pit mix, DOB: 2/14/14. Bacall weighs 45 pounds and stands 16 inches at the shoulders. Bacall is one of 2 dogs rescued by a Good Samaritan who witnessed them being dumped in the desert. The Good Samaritan brought both dogs to Halfway to Home. The male (Bogie) was adopted last week and now it is Bacall's turn to find the loving home she deserves. This is a very loving girl who likes to give kisses and craves affection. She appears to have had a rather rough life but is thriving in her new foster home where she is currently residing with her foster dad and 14 other dogs of various ages and sizes with absolutely no problems. Bacall has learned to use the dog door and is crate trained and house trained. Her new owner will have to be a kind person willing to give Bacall the love and the good-quality human companionship she craves and deserves. Bacall loves other dogs and it would be very nice if her new Forever home had a compatible companion dog for her to pal around with as well. When Bacall is thoroughly settled in her new home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Bacall has bonded with her new owner (which, with a lot of love, should be a short time) she will make a remarkable canine companion.
