Oliver's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Oliver's Story...
Oliver is a fantastically handsome 5-year-old beagle boy. His weight is about 40 lbs. which is perfect on his 15-inch frame. He has a wonderful engaging personality and gets along great in his foster family. He likes to play with his pack mates and enjoys a good chew toy.  Walks with Oliver are a pleasure because he doesn't try to pull you down the street.  He doesn't chew anything he shouldn't but does like an occasional sniff and roll in a pile of dirty clothes.  This sweet boy will be a perfect member of some lucky family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Houston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Houston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
